OBJECTIVE

The Objective of my electronic portfolio is three-fold:

  1. To provide me with a central location for all my work as I pursue my Master's in Educational Technology. Since I am only able to take one class per semester, it is going to take me a while to finish my degree. This site will help me remember all that I have done and refer to it when I need to enhance or use the resources I have already created.
  2. To provide myself and other teachers with resources when teaching classes related to integrating technology or mathematics. My site will contain many links to other resources and can become a search portal for those looking for resources or when I need to have my students go to one of the links.
  3. To provide a place for my updated resume to add credibility to the site and as a place for information about me as I pursue future career goals, for example, presenting my ideas at conferences, being hired to provide training for others, or pursuing the writing of research papers or publications.

Using the format provided to our class by Dr. Sherry in Educational Technology (ETEC 602 - Teaching/Training Technologies), I have put my objectives for this site into ABCD Objective format.

A (Audience): Students in Educational Technology, Professors at the University of Hawaii, and Fellow Teachers in Technology
B (Behavior): will be able to learn more about me as a student and teacher
C (Condition): by viewing my Electronic Portfolio
D (Degree): for evaluation and learning purposes.
