COPYRIGHT
Copyright is a critical issue when it
comes to creating content that will appear on the worldwide web. It
is important to provide proper credit and get proper approval when adding
other artist's work to your site.
My site contains content and images that
were created by me and designed by me for this project. Listed below
are any exceptions to this.
- On the Philosophy
page, there is a video that was taken by a student in my class with
my permission and at my request. This video was then given to me by
this student and she was told that it would be used in my portfolio
at a later date. This video was shot in 2002 at La Pietra - Hawaii
School for Girls where I was the Director of Technology. I purposely
chose a shot from the video that did not show the student's face to
avoid the need to get a press release for that student.
- On the Standards
pages, I have copied the actual standards from the International
Society for Technology in Education website. I have done my best
on the page to give full credit to this organization. I thought it
was important to have the standards present on my site to make it
easy for visitors to see them and relate to them when viewing my examples.
